Why we don't do appointments
Most people who come in have no idea what a piece is actually worth until it's tested, which makes scheduling ahead of time pretty pointless — you'd be booking a slot for something neither of us can plan around. Walk-ins let you come in whenever it's convenient for you, whether that's during a lunch break, right after work, or on a Saturday morning.
What to expect if you walk in right now
Evaluations typically take under 30 minutes for most jewelry, coins, or small collections. You'll get tested purity and weight, a transparent offer based on real-time market pricing, and — if you decide to sell — cash the same day.
What to bring
Just the items you're considering selling and a valid government-issued photo ID. North Carolina law requires ID for any precious metals transaction, so that part isn't optional, but everything else is genuinely as simple as walking through the door.
Is there ever a wait?
Occasionally, if we're mid-evaluation with another customer, you might wait a few minutes — but there's no scheduling system to navigate, no phone tag, no "next available slot." You show up, you're helped.
